We’ll be asking guests to arrive from 7pm on the night to take your glass of Bucks Fizz and explore Salterns Hotel 

Take your seats for Dinner

That’s why we’ve created a Christmas Party Package to match those needs. You can book for your colleagues in one of our Function Rooms or Bistro Restaurant with just one phone call. These are available every Friday and Saturday night during late November and December.

Menu  

We have a specially created Festive Menu with a full vegetarian Menu to go alongside.  It’s a 4-Course Meal, followed by Tea or Coffee and Miniature Mince Pies.

Entertainment

We’ll take care of decorating your table in a truly festive way coupled with Christmas chart hits whilst you arrive, and when you enjoy the Meal. After this the DJ starts up and you can dance your way into Christmas!

How do we help you prepare?

Wedding planning can seem very overwhelming. We totally understand that. But on the flip side, you might have some great ideas and just need a bit of guidance of how we can make that work in our function rooms.

Dedicated Wedding Planner

When you first make an enquiry about having your Wedding with us, our Events Manager Carrie (who you’ll get to know very well!) will give you a free, no-obligation, tour of the venue and to give you an idea of the sorts of Weddings we can host and how the day plans out. 

What will I learn?

You’ll get information about our Waterside Weddings which take place outside on the lawn. Smaller weddings in our 1st  floor function room with stunning panoramic views of Poole Harbour or our largest function room with capacity of up to 120 people and full private bar.

The planning stage

You’ll be working with Carrie to plan your day from start to finish. She’ll help you organise all stages from the ceremony, wedding breakfast, accommodation and entertainment to name just a few.  Culminating in a meeting just before the day to iron out any final details. 

The day is finally here! 

Carrie and Kathryn, our Functions Manager on the Front of House side, will be with you every step of the day to ensure you and your guests have a day you’ll never forget.

Where to start with our review, firstly with a massive Thank you to all the team at The Salterns. I know all couples say their day was perfect and ours was no exception. When we first visited and met with Carrie we knew this was the venue and the person we wanted to work with. Carrie has such a warm and friendly approach and understood what we wanted from our Wedding day, nothing was too much trouble. Communication was always timely, even when Carrie was on her own holiday! We have had so many lovely compliments from our guests about the food and the whole wedding day. It ran so smoothly under Carrie and Kathryn's watchful eyes, making sure everyone was in the right place at the right time.

We got married at Salterns on Saturday and had the most perfect day! Carrie, Catherine and their team ensured that every moment of our day ran smoothly and were flexible and helpful throughout. The ceremony outside on the lawn was beautiful and Carrie and Catherine dressed the chairs perfectly. They were so flexible with how we decorated the reception room and nothing was too much trouble for them. We couldn't have asked for more. Thankyou Carrie, we loved our day so much, we want to do it all again!
